Michel Arms (the big one) Shield: Quarterly, fields 1 and 4: Azure, three roses argent; fields 2 and 3: Or, a mullet of twelve points azure. The roses are an ancient symbol of the peninsular region, connecting with the constellation The Larinavai, which is locally known under the name "The Three Roses". The twelve pointed star symbolizes the 12 historical lathes of Somery. The shield carries the Somerish rose crown. Supporters: Two methelkilns, in traditional colours, i.e. argent with wing feathers azure, carrying a heart gules on their shoulders. The wings symbolize freedom, the claws the will to cling to and defend that freedom. The wings can also symbolize the flight of imagination, and the abscence of the heads indicates the need to 'think' with your heart. Little Arms (the little one) Azure, three roses argent. |
